A beautiful Allparts build with all the trimmings. An Ice Blue finish with the mildest of relic’ing to mimic a smidge of real life wear. A set of Seymour Duncan Heavy Weather pickups and traditional J-bass controls allow for plenty of tonal combinations and a boatload of thumpin fun. Alder body, maple neck with a sweet, dark rosewood board. Pickup covers, thumbrest, mirror pickguard…….this literally has it all.
Boo-boo alert—I did manage to get heavy handed and drill through to the back in a tiny spot but we can just call that “relic’ing” for now. I also did not align the bridge pickup cover perfectly the first time and had to drill another set of holes. Not visible w/ the cover on but want to make sure there are no surprises.
